What is 59th vTFW 2nd Sqn “Dongó”
Dongó is a small multi national squadron, first created in early 2024 as a result of our friend groups invitation to a squadron only event, that's where our squadron was born,
but without an official name, we have been flying as back as early 2023!
We strive to make an immersive and realistic experience for ourselves and those around us, without loosing sight of why we were there in the very first place: to have fun.
As Red Air Aggressors we aim to provide an adaptive challenge, so at the end of the event, everyone can walk away with improvements.
We believe that our job as Aggressors is to teach. When we go into an engagement we aim to learn and re-tell our experiences.
Most notably, you probably have seen us over in RED FLAG EU. One of the biggest multi national mass exercises in, where our squadron has been entrusted to lead the aggressor section. Providing an authentic Warsaw-PACT style flying opposition to the attendee's
Our main modules include the **Mig-29A** and **Mig-21Bis** interceptors which are lead into the fight by our trusted GCI's.
Further we also have a dedicated DCS server where we host our missions and trainings. We usually aim to have missions happen on Saturdays with trainings taking place on Tuesdays and Thursdays's.
This year we are even aiming to start our own multi- squadron missions and campaigns *(PvPvE/PvE)*
So be the case you wish to join as an interceptor pilot, or command as a GCI or your group/squadron wishes to fly together or organize joint training's/missions!
