What is Gümüş Kaplanlar (Silver Tigers)
Silver Tigers is a virtual flight community founded on May 19, 2006. The Silver Tigers do not impersonate or imitate a real-life fleet. It consists of individuals over the age of 18, most of whom are involved in military aviation in real life and apply their love of aviation as a hobby in the simulator environment.
The Silver Tigers, who have been using the Falcon simulator since 2006, switched to the DCS simulator in 2020. Although F-16 users predominate, our fleet is open to all aircraft. For F-16 within our structure; There is a basic training phase followed by advanced training. This learning and adaptation process takes more than 1 year.
Our fleet aims to implement the procedures applied in the Turkish Air Force in a virtual environment as close to reality as possible. Those who throw the most, hit the hardest, try to prove themselves, and act individually have no place in our fleet. Our goal is to be a virtual Turkish aviation fleet that constantly improves itself and has the best adaptation and flight discipline. Apart from flights and missions, our fleet is an environment of friendship, fun and knowledge sharing.
