Combined Ops Elevates Operational Control with Integrated SRS Interface and DTC Improvements

The Combined Ops ecosystem has expanded its tactical capabilities with a major functional update to DCS Airspace, designed to streamline radio communications for controllers and AWACS operators. The latest release introduces a dedicated SRS Client control panel embedded directly into the DCS Airspace interface, enabling seamless management of Simple Radio Standalone comms without requiring operators to leave their primary tactical display.

This integrated control panel grants real-time oversight over radio channels, frequencies, and client connections, significantly reducing software switching during high-workload operations. A crucial prerequisite for utilizing this feature is the background execution of Combined Ops Link, which must be running and actively connected to the designated SRS Server. By acting as the operational bridge between DCS Airspace and the radio infrastructure, Combined Ops Link ensures low-latency synchronization and reliable telemetry transfer across the network.

Alongside this major advancement in airspace management, the suite has also rolled out a series of avionics and planning updates within the DCS Mission Planner. Pre-flight preparation for the F/A-18C Hornet has seen key upgrades through the addition of dedicated HARM settings within the Data Transfer Cartridge editor. Furthermore, Hornet pilots can now leverage expanded Data Transfer Cartridge Point capabilities, allowing up to 200 additional waypoints to be generated and automatically assigned to the aircraft's GPS waypoint partition upon import. Complementing these Hornet enhancements, the F-16C Viper DTC module now supports the direct export of VIP and VRP whenever they are enabled in the planning workflow.

Together, these updates mark a significant step forward in uniting pre-flight Data Transfer Cartridge configuration with real-time tactical command, providing virtual squadrons with a more cohesive and fully integrated simulation platform.
