F-14B(U) DTC Management Now Live, Plus Apache Support on the Horizon
F-14B(U) DTC Capabilities
The F-14B(U) cartridge builder is now available. This update lets you prepare your avionics configuration before jumping into the cockpit, cutting down setup time during cold starts.
Current functional areas include:
- Flight Plan & Waypoint Data: Input target locations, waypoints, and initial navigation points.
- Map Lines & Geometry: Plot boundaries, visual markers, and custom tactical lines directly onto the map layer.
- Additional Reference Points: Save IPs, ACP points, custom reference coordinates, etc.
- CMDS Preset: Pre-set your flare and chaff dispensing programs.
- TIS Parameters: Configure ownship and wingmen data.
Once your setup is ready, you can export a .dtc file and load it directly into DCS World. We are currently working on the remaining F-14B(U) sub-systems and will roll them out as testing finishes.
Ongoing Updates: F-16C and F/A-18C
Maintenance for existing modules remains a priority. DTC configuration tools for the Viper and Hornet continue to receive regular adjustments to ensure full compatibility with the latest DCS World core updates, weapon profile shifts, and avionics behavior.
What's Next: AH-64D Apache
Development has also started on DTC support for the AH-64D Apache. This implementation will align with the DTC structure currently being introduced by Eagle Dynamics. We will share more details on feature coverage as we get closer to release.
You can try out the new F-14B(U) features today. If you run into any issues or notice unexpected behavior, please leave your feedback in the community channels.
