DCS Mission Planner introduces initial DTC support for the MiG-29A Fulcrum in DCS World, enabling flight-planning data and aircraft configuration settings to be prepared directly within Combined Ops.
MiG-29A Fulcrum DTC Support Introduced
Initial DTC (Data Transfer Cartridge) support for the MiG-29A Fulcrum has been introduced in Combined Ops, extending the suite's aircraft-specific mission preparation capabilities to the MiG-29A.
The new implementation provides structured preparation of key DTC data directly from the mission planning environment. The currently supported DTC elements are:
- Points — predefined navigation and tactical reference points.
- Waypoints — waypoint data prepared from the mission plan.
- Route — route information derived from the planned flight.
- Radio Settings — aircraft radio configuration and assigned frequencies.
- CMDS — Countermeasures Dispensing System configuration.
- Weapon Settings — supported weapon configuration parameters.
- Target Waypoint — automatically uses the first waypoint designated as a target in the flight plan.
The Target Waypoint integration connects the aircraft configuration directly to the mission plan: when a target waypoint is defined in the planned flight, the first designated target waypoint is used as the MiG-29A DTC target reference.
This initial implementation establishes the foundation for MiG-29A DTC mission preparation within Combined Ops, linking aircraft configuration with route, waypoint, communications, countermeasures, weapons, and target data defined during mission planning.
