DCS Mission Planner adds manual Time on Steerpoint (TOS), waypoint selection animation, and automatic ground speed recalculation. The F-16C DTC tools also add a COLOR DTC Partition Editor.
The August 26, 2026 update introduces several changes to DCS Mission Planner, with improvements to waypoint editing, flight timing, and F-16C DTC configuration.
Waypoint Selection Animation
A new waypoint selection animation has been added to DCS Mission Planner. The animation provides clearer visual feedback when selecting waypoints while editing a flight plan.
Manual Time on Steerpoint (TOS)
DCS Mission Planner now allows users to manually set the Time on Steerpoint (TOS) for individual waypoints.
When a manual TOS is specified, the required ground speed is automatically recalculated so that the waypoint can be reached at the selected time. This provides more direct control over flight timing during mission and route planning.
F-16C DTC — COLOR DTC Partition Editor
The F-16C DTC tools have been updated with a new COLOR DTC Partition Editor, allowing users to edit COLOR DTC partitions as part of the F-16C data cartridge configuration workflow.
This update is part of the ongoing development of Combined Ops DCS Mission Planner, the flight planning tool for DCS World.
