This video provides a practical overview of the Combined Ops mission-planning workflow, starting with a basic DCS World .miz file and using DCS AOC Tools to complete the operational information required for the mission.
The example covers the creation of Task Units and a package, assignment of mission tasks, targets, timings and aircraft configurations, and the generation of the resulting Air Tasking Order (ATO). It also shows how operational information can be published and shared with DCS Mission Planner for pilot flight preparation.
The video also briefly demonstrates the connected workflow between DCS AOC Tools and DCS Mission Planner. The DCS Mission Planner section focuses specifically on the shared information rather than detailed flight preparation or DTC configuration. The example shows how the ATO and target data are made available to pilots, together with threat Line of Sight analysis that can be used when preparing a flight plan.
