Development of the AH-64D DTC Manager begins in DCS Mission Planner, with Flight Plan, CTRLM, TGT/THRT and Lines support already available. F-14B(U) DTC development also continues with JDAM partition support.
Development of the AH-64D DTC Manager for DCS Mission Planner is now underway, with the first functional DTC partitions already available.
AH-64D DTC Support
The initial implementation includes support for the Flight Plan, CTRLM, TGT/THRT, and Lines partitions, providing the foundation for the continued development of the AH-64D Digital Data Cartridge workflow within Mission Planner.
The DTC work is being developed incrementally, with additional partitions and functionality to be introduced in future updates. The current implementation establishes the core structure required to expand AH-64D DTC planning and data management in DCS World.
F-14B(U) DTC Development Continues
Development of the F-14B(U) DTC is continuing in parallel. The latest Mission Planner update introduces JDAM partition support, extending the aircraft-specific DTC functionality already under development.
Manual configuration of the JDAM launch point is not yet available. The current implementation provides the underlying JDAM partition support, with further functionality planned for subsequent development.
DTC Time Handling and Mission Planner Improvements
An issue affecting exported DTC files for DCS World has also been corrected. Previously, DTC data could provide DCS with computed times in local time. Exported DTC times are now correctly provided in UTC (Zulu) time, ensuring consistent time handling between Mission Planner and DCS.
Mission Planner's map initialization process has also been improved. A map loading progress bar now indicates the loading status and prevents user interaction until the map is ready, reducing the possibility of incomplete or invalid operations during initialization.
Additional general improvements include the ability to search for groups by country, together with several fixes addressing page loading and initialization issues.
The DTC system remains under active development in DCS Mission Planner, with the AH-64D implementation now established as a new development branch and the F-14B(U) implementation continuing to expand.
