DCS Mission Planner expands F/A-18C DTC support with TACAN, CMDS Default Programs, and a new HARM TOO Threat Classes Manager.
F/A-18C DTC Support Expands in DCS Mission Planner
The F/A-18C DTC implementation in DCS Mission Planner has been expanded with several new aircraft-specific configuration features, further extending the DTC workflow available for the DCS World Hornet.
A new TACAN partition has been added, allowing TACAN-related data to be managed as part of the F/A-18C DTC configuration in Mission Planner.
The CMDS partition has also been expanded with a new Default Programs section, providing support for configuring the default countermeasure programs as part of the aircraft's DTC data.
HARM TOO Threat Classes Manager
The F/A-18C HARM partition now includes a TOO Threat Classes Manager.
This provides a dedicated interface for managing the threat classes used by the AGM-88 HARM in Target of Opportunity (TOO) mode, allowing the relevant radar threat classifications to be configured as part of the F/A-18C DTC workflow. The HARM TOO system uses threat classes to filter and categorize detected radar emitters.
These additions continue the development of the F/A-18C DTC Manager in DCS Mission Planner, progressively bringing additional aircraft configuration and weapon-system data into the mission planning workflow.
With TACAN, CMDS Default Programs, and HARM TOO Threat Classes now supported, the F/A-18C DTC implementation continues to expand toward a more complete aircraft-specific DTC configuration environment for DCS World.
