Combined Ops introduces an interactive mission timeline in DCS AOC Tools and DCS Mission Planner, alongside the first phase of its DCS World map update initiative: new satellite imagery for the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR), now available across DCS AOC Tools, DCS Mission Planner, and DCS Airspace.
Combined Ops has released two updates enhancing mission planning and map visualization across its DCS World suite: an interactive mission timeline and the initial deployment of updated satellite map imagery for the Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR).
Interactive Mission Timeline — AOC Tools and Mission Planner
DCS AOC Tools and DCS Mission Planner now feature an interactive mission timeline designed to improve mission analysis and flight-plan visualization.
The timeline includes playback controls, an adjustable time scale, and aircraft position markers synchronized with planned flight routes. This allows users to follow aircraft progression throughout a mission and visualize planned movements in relation to mission timing.
The feature is available in both AOC Tools and Mission Planner, extending timeline-based flight visualization across the Combined Ops mission planning workflow.
DCS NTTR Satellite Map — First Phase of the Map Update Initiative
Updated satellite map imagery for the DCS World Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR) theatre is now available in all three Combined Ops applications:
- DCS AOC Tools
- DCS Mission Planner
- DCS Airspace
The NTTR satellite map represents the first test deployment in a broader initiative to update map imagery across the Combined Ops suite. This initial release establishes the starting point for further map updates, with satellite (SAT) and altitude (ALT) maps planned for additional DCS World theatres.
The objective is to progressively expand updated map coverage across the suite, supporting operational planning, route analysis, and airspace visualization with improved cartographic resources.
Further theatre updates will follow as the map update initiative progresses.
